Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that Israel is determined to topple Iran's regime, saying its "end is near," according to footage released by the Prime Minister's Office.
"If Iran makes a mistake and attacks us, it will suffer a blow it cannot even imagine," Netanyahu said at a Rosh Hashanah toast during a cabinet meeting.
Netanyahu said Israel and the United States had made major gains in removing what he described as an existential threat from Iran, including its nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities. "Israel is stronger than ever, our enemies are weaker than ever," he said.
"The achievements are enormous, but there is still more to complete. I mean first and foremost toppling the regime," Netanyahu said. "This regime in Iran – its end is near. It is weak, it is fighting for its life, it is faltering."
