ISCCM to hold critical care awareness walkathon on Friday

The Visakhapatnam branch of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) will observe National Critical Care Day on Friday with a public awareness walkathon to highlight the importance of recognising life-threatening medical emergencies early.
The walkathon, themed “Together We Walk, Together We Care”, will begin at 6 a.m. from Kali Mata Temple and proceed towards the Park Junction on Beach Road. ISCCM Visakhapatnam branch chairperson D. Sairama Devi and secretary Vara Lakshmi said timely recognition and appropriate response during medical emergencies could help save lives.
