Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that its Aerospace Force launched a cruise missile attack targeting and “destroying” Amazon's central data infrastructure in Bahrain. According to a report by Euro News, Tehran claimed that the attack has been carried out in retaliation for recent US strikes on civilian infrastructure in Iran. Citing a statement released by the IRGC's public relations office and carried by Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency, the report says that the missile barrage also targeted “US air defense systems and radar installations in the Bahraini areas of Muharraq and Riffa.”The reported strikes come as direct military confrontations between Iran and the US enter their 10th consecutive day, despite ongoing diplomatic talks and exchanges of messages between the two nations, the report said.
