iQOO 16 launches with Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, 8,400 mAh battery
The iQOO 16 flagship smartphone has launched in China, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and a high-capacity 8,400 mAh battery. The device includes advanced display technology and a triple-camera system, with pricing starting at approximately $894.

Today the iQOO 16 has become official in China as the brand's latest flagship smartphone. It comes with a 6.85-inch Samsung-made M16 AMOLED display with 1440x3168 resolution, a 19.8:9 aspect ratio, and a 165Hz refresh rate. The panel goes up to a mind-boggling 10,000 nits of very localized peak brightness. Full-screen peak brightness is also very impressive at 2,800 nits.
The iQOO 16 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. On the rear there's a triple camera setup with a 50MP main 1/1.3-inch type sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide with autofocus using a 1/2.75" type sensor, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS, using a 1/1.95" type sensor. This has 3x optical zoom and 6x "lossless" zoom, as well as up to 100x digital zoom. For selfies there's a fixed-focus 32MP snapper.
