Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department suspended (EMPD) Deputy Chief Julius Mkhwanazi has been arrested by the Independent Police Investigating Directorate (IPID).
Mkhwanazi was the remaining suspect whom police executed an arrest warrant on a short while ago, in connection with the alleged theft of precious stones worth R14.9 million from a property in Killarney.
