iPhone 18 Pro Max Review: Marginal, yet meaningful refinement

If you place last year’s pro-grade iPhone next to this year’s iPhone 18 Pro, you will hardly see the difference between the two phones, except in the colour. The one I’ve been using for the past week is a shade darker than the MacBook Air’s sky blue and a touch lighter than the iPhone 16’s ultramarine. Apple calls it glacier, and I like how it looks.
With the iPhone 17 Pro, Apple made a design reset in its professional-grade smartphone variant. Now, with the iPhone 18 Pro, under John Ternus, the company is following through with some marginal, meaningful refinements.
