ION Orchard Food Opera reopens ION Orchard is well known as one of Singapore's luxury shopping destinations, with its lineup of high-end brands and extravagant dining options. Now, its Food Opera is getting an upgrade to match—the revamped food court set to open on 28 September 2026. The heritage brands are intentionally included to preserve and celebrate Singapore's hawker culture, spotlighting generational recipes with an impressive history. Image credit: Food Opera Highlights include the 93-year-old Ming Chung White Lor Mee, now run by its fourth-generation owners, known for its signature Henghua Braised Noodles ($6.20). There’s also Hillman Restaurant, a Cantonese institution famous for its traditional claypot dishes and paper-wrapped chicken.
