‘Intintiki Manyam Police’ campaign launched
Police in Parvatipuram-Manyam have launched a door-to-door campaign to educate residents on the dangers of narcotics and promote police services. The initiative aims to make the district drug-free and improve community engagement.

Parvatipuram-Manyam District Superintendent of Police S.V. Madhav Reddy on Thursday urged residents to understand the adverse effects of drugs, ganja and other narcotic substances on the physical and mental health.
He said that the department is working towards making the district drug free.
Speaking to The Hindu , Mr. Madhav said: “The department has launched a door-to-door campaign titled ‘Intintiki Manyam Police’, to create awareness about the services offered by the police department.”
“Our aim is to ensure everyone stays away from drugs. We have asked tribal people not to cooperate with anyone for plantation and transport of ganja. We will explain to them about the legal consequences including the filing of police cases,” Mr. Madhav added.
