International review standardizes selenosugar nomenclature and selenium metabolism

Researchers have published a new review in the Biological Trace Element Research journal to standardize the nomenclature and analytical methods for selenosugars. This effort aims to resolve two decades of inconsistent terminology in selenium metabolism studies.
