The Sri Sathya Sai District Child Protection Unit on Friday (October 9, 2026) celebrated International Girl Child Day at the Government High School for Girls in Kothacheruvu.
Addressing the students, Circle-Inspector S. Rajasekhar advised the students to limit their mobile usage, stay away from social media, and focus on studies. He asked them to set goals and pursue them with discipline.
District Child Protection Officer M. Mahesh said that girls are excelling in education, jobs, and administration, and urged them to use social media to gain positive knowledge, develop their talents, and move ahead with perseverance and confidence to reach top positions.
