Inter-State burglar arrested in Kalaburagi, gold, silver articles recovered
Police in Kalaburagi have arrested a habitual burglar from Hyderabad who confessed to committing multiple house break-ins. Authorities recovered gold and silver jewellery worth over ₹13 lakh from the suspect.

The police have arrested a Hyderabad-based burglar in connection with four house break-in cases reported under Station Bazaar Police limits in Kalaburagi and recovered gold and silver jewellery worth, in all, ₹13.40 lakh, Police Commissioner S.D. Sharanappa has said.
The accused was identified as Mohammed Mujahid (also known as Javed), son of Mohammed Zafar, a resident of Hyderabad in Telangana.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Dr. Sharanappa said that Mujahid was arrested following investigation of a complaint filed by Shivraj Avanti, a resident of Old Jewargi Road in the city.
Mr. Avanti reported that unidentified people broke into his locked house on the night of January 21 and stole gold and silver ornaments valued at ₹66,000 and ₹16,000 in cash.
During investigation, police traced Mujahid and and arrested him.
During interrogation, he reportedly confessed to committing four house break-ins within the Station Bazaar Police limits.
