Inter post €22.7m profit despite revenue drop after Champions League final windfall

Inter Milan reported a net profit of €22.7 million for the 2025-26 financial year, marking their second consecutive year of profitability. Despite a decrease in revenue due to lower UEFA television income, the club successfully reduced operating costs and financial debt.
Why it matters
The financial health of major European football clubs is a key indicator of the economic sustainability of the professional sports industry.
Inter recorded a net profit of €22.7m for the 2025-26 financial year, their second positive result in a row under Oaktree's ownership.
According to Calcio e Finanza , the figure is down from €35.4m the previous year, when the Nerazzurri benefited from reaching the Champions League final and taking part in the expanded Club World Cup.
Revenue fell from €567m to €517.7m, though it is still the second-highest turnover in the club's history. The drop came largely from UEFA television income, which almost halved from €136.8m to €73.8m, and from the €31.4m earned at the Club World Cup not being repeated.
