Inter Milan still interested in Jones
Inter Milan is pursuing a transfer for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, with a reported valuation gap between the two clubs. Meanwhile, Liverpool continues its pre-season tour with updates on player fitness and internal team dynamics.
Why it matters
High-value football transfers significantly impact club finances and team competitiveness in European leagues.
Inter Milan are still interested in Curtis Jones and have indicated through intermediaries they would be willing to pay up to 35m euros (£29.9m) for the Liverpool midfielder.
The Italian side made a verbal offer of 25m euros (£21.7m) last month and that was rejected, with Liverpool valuing Jones at at least £35m.
Andoni Iraola 's side are unwilling to sanction a cut-price exit for the 25-year-old, who only has one year left on his contract. But their resolve will be tested, with Inter keen on bringing Jones to Milan.
