Intel Unnati Artificial Intelligence Laboratory opened at St. Joseph Engineering College

St. Joseph Engineering College in Mangaluru has inaugurated an Intel Unnati Artificial Intelligence Laboratory to support research and experiential learning. The facility will host faculty development programs focused on machine learning and deep learning tools.

An Intel Unnati Artificial Intelligence Laboratory was inaugurated and a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on machine learning and deep learning using Intel Unnati AI tools and frameworks began at St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, on Monday.
The AI laboratory has been established in the Department of Intelligent Computing and Business Systems (ICBS), which offers B.E. programmes in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) and Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science).
Speaking on the occasion, Govind Agarwala, national manager, Intel India, highlighted Intel’s student-centric initiatives, opportunities for Intel certifications and avenues for participation in global AI competitions. He encouraged students and faculty to leverage the Intel Unnati ecosystem to develop innovative AI solutions with real-world impact.
