Last week, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Energy Business Forum (AEBF) was held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City to discuss the 11-nation region’s evolving energy landscape. The forum was hosted by the Philippine Department of Energy (DOE) and organized by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) alongside the ASEAN Ministers of Energy Meeting (AMEM).
Belgium-based Global Renewables Alliance (GRA) also played a key role in the AEBF event by convening a dedicated workshop on private sector participation in the ASEAN Power Grid. GRA Asia-Pacific brought together industry representatives to explore investment opportunities and technology solutions through public-private partnerships (PPPs) to strengthen regional electricity interconnections and accelerate renewable energy (RE) integration across Southeast Asia.
