Insta360's Next Action Cam Could Be a Real GoPro Competitor

When it comes to action cameras, GoPro has long held a high spot in the industry. Competitor Insta360 does have a steady foothold in the market, and the company’s forthcoming X6 camera could shrink GoPro’s lead.
Newly leaked images of the Insta360 X6 surfaced today, thanks to camera leaker Mauro Tandoi, just days after a filing for the new camera was spotted online. As reported by WinFuture , the leaked images show a much more compact body than that of the X5, with a much more traditional action camera silhouette. All told, the X6 looks more like a GoPro than any of Insta360’s previous offerings. This is still classic Insta360, though, with dual camera sensors placed behind a fisheye lens on the front and back sides, along with a status display for quick settings.
