The Indian National League (INL) has asked the Congress leadership to clarify whether the “special consideration” allegedly being extended by Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan to Sangh Parivar leadership and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)-affiliated organisations and individuals reflects a shift in the Congress party’s ideological position.
In a statement issued on Sunday (July 12, 2026), INL State general secretary Kasim Irikkur alleged that the Chief Minister was undermining the secular values long upheld by Kerala society.
