Indonesia to Co-Host 2027 UN Peacekeeping Ministerial With Netherlands

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia and the Netherlands will co-host the 2027 UN Peacekeeping Ministerial (UNPM) in Jakarta in the fourth quarter of 2027, Indonesia's Foreign Ministry said in a statement issued on Saturday, September 19, 2026.“Through this joint leadership, Indonesia seeks to garner political support, foster inclusive international cooperation and ensure UN peacekeeping operations remain effective, responsive and well resourced,” Indonesia's UN envoy Umar Hadi said.It will be the first time Indonesia hosts the forum.
