IndiaSkills Competition 2027: Tiruppur district administration scouts for young talent
The Tiruppur district administration is inviting youth aged 16-25 to register for the IndiaSkills Competition 2027. This initiative aims to identify talent for the upcoming WorldSkills Competition 2028 in Japan across various technical and creative disciplines.

The Tiruppur district administration has reached out to educational and training institutions to invite youth to participate in IndiaSkills Competition 2027, organised by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
Registrations are accepted through the portals: https://skilldevelopment.tn.gov.in/tnskills/ or IndiaSkills Portal: https://www.skillindiadigital.gov.in/india-skills-competition, till September 15.
In Tamil Nadu, competition is being coordinated by the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC). The competition, District Collector Manish S. Narnaware said, serves as a key platform for identifying talented youth for participation at the WorldSkills Competition 2028, scheduled to be held in Aichi, Japan.
Engineering students, polytechnic students, arts and science college students, ITI trainees, students of skill training institutions, and young entrepreneurs in the age bracket of 16-25 (age criteria may vary depending on the skill category) can apply, the District Collector said in a press release.
