Indian, US navies kick off 5-day specialised diving, EOD exercise in Kochi

NEW DELHI: Indian and US navies will conduct a five-day exercise on explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) at the Southern Naval Command in Kochi from August 10 to 14.‘Indian Navy–US Navy EOD Exercise 2026’ aims to enhance interoperability and strengthen professional cooperation between the specialist diving and EOD teams of the two navies.The exercise will comprise subject matter expert exchanges, cross-training, equipment demonstrations and scenario-based practical exercises.
