At least 12 people, including an Indian, were killed after Russia launched a massive aerial assault across Ukraine overnight, Ukrainian authorities said on Tuesday. More than a dozen people were also wounded, including three children.The attack, which began at around 6pm on Monday, involved ballistic, cruise and anti-radar missiles, along with 218 drones and decoys, according to Ukraine’s air force. Around a third of the drones were reportedly jet-powered.The Kyiv and Odesa regions were the main targets of the assault, which marked the sixth consecutive day of Russian attacks on the Ukrainian capital.Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged in several areas.
