India signed off from the boxing competition at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow with a record haul of seven gold medals after Narender won silver in the men's 90+kg category on Saturday.Narender was outclassed by England's Damar Thomas in the men's 90+kg final, losing by a unanimous 0-5 decision to settle for the silver medal.India finished on top of the boxing medal standings with seven gold and three silver medals, registering its best-ever performance at the Commonwealth Games.Earlier in the day, Ankush Panghal won India's seventh gold medal after beating England's Dimeji Shittu 4-1 in a split decision in the men's 80kg final.The other Indian gold medallists were Sachin Siwach, Jaismine Lamboria, Preeti Pawar, Sakshi Chaudhary, Arundhati Choudhary and Priya Ghanghas. Olympic medallist Lovlina Borgohain and Jadumani Singh also finished with silver medals.In the men's 60kg final, Sachin defeated Namibia's Tryagain Morning Ndevelo in a dramatic contest.
