New Delhi: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met UAE crown prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Saturday on the sidelines of the Brics Summit in New Delhi.The two leaders held talks during the meeting, but the embassy did not immediately provide details about the issues discussed, Iran International reports.In an X post, Iran in India wrote, "H.E. Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held a meeting and talks with H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit."Earlier, Brics leaders unanimously adopted the New Delhi Declaration 2026, expressing deep concern over escalating tensions in West Asia and urging maximum restraint to prevent further deterioration.
