For a long time, a trip to the african continent had been tickling me. One day, it was clear, and the decision was made: I am going to Africa! I chose to explore the great country of Tanzania, hoping to see wild animals, swim with whale sharks and blend in with the local population, including the famous Maasai tribe. While I was looking for a place to stay in the big city of Dar es Salaam, I came across an unexpected finding. The map showed an area with three Hindu temples, one next to the other. A closer look revealed an ashram and a few Indian restaurants. Indians in Africa? I wondered as my curiosity skyrocketed.
