India’s first cyber Trojan Horse garners eyeballs at security meet in Kochi

A 25-foot tall 'Cyber Trojan Horse' made from electronic waste was unveiled at the c0c0n 2026 cybersecurity conference in Kochi. The installation aims to raise awareness about digital security risks and the importance of responsible e-waste management.
Why it matters
It serves as a creative intersection between environmental sustainability and the growing necessity of public cybersecurity education.
A unique installation unveiled at c0c0n 2026, the 19th edition of the cybersecurity and hacking conference in Kochi, has turned out to be a ‘tall’ symbol of cyber awareness.
Titled The Trojan Project™, India’s first Cyber Trojan Horse, the 25-feet tall statue of a horse, weighing approximately two tonnes, has been created by artist DaVinci Suresh using around 850 pieces of discarded electronic scrap, including motherboards, processors, memory modules, circuit boards, cables and other electronic components.
“The Trojan Project draws inspiration from the legendary Trojan Horse, a symbol of danger concealed behind an apparently harmless or attractive exterior. By bringing this concept to life through a monumental installation, the project seeks to make the risks of the digital world more tangible and understandable to the public,” according to the organisers of the event.
