Addressing a press conference at Dak Sadan in Hyderabad on World Post Day observed on Friday (October 9, 2026), Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) D.S.V.R. Murthy said the Department of Posts is observing National Postal Week from October 9 to 15 under the theme, “One Postal Network, Infinite Possibilities.” He said the theme reflects India Post’s transformation into a modern, technology-enabled organisation while retaining its extensive physical presence.
