India poised to woo global investments amid US curbs: INMECC

The Indo Gulf and Middle East Chamber of Commerce suggests India has a prime opportunity to attract global technology and industrial investments. This shift is attributed to tightening manpower regulations in the United States.
Why it matters
It highlights India's potential to capitalize on changing global labor and business policies to boost its domestic industrial sector.
India has a significant opportunity to attract global technology investments and industrial establishments as the United States tightens manpower regulations, the Indo Gulf and Middle East Chamber of Commerce (INMECC) has said.
The changing international business environment presents India with an opportunity to position itself as a preferred destination for foreign investments and the establishment of fully equipped operational and technology centres, it said in a statement.
Urging the Central and State governments, along with private-sector stakeholders, to explore the emerging opportunity, the INMECC said it is actively engaged in facilitating investment opportunities in India.
