Warner Bros. Discovery on Wednesday (July 29) announced the launch of India: Epic Wild Stories , a documentary anthology on Animal Planet that celebrates the country’s biodiversity through the lens of acclaimed Indian filmmakers. The series will feature monthly premieres, spanning across the country’s diverse ecosystems and will offer a deeper look into India’s natural world and the people working to protect it.
The first documentary in the series, a six-part series called Shared Spaces , has been released on Animal Planet. The docu-series is hosted by award-winning environmental journalist Bahar Dutt and filmed by Emmy-nominated wildlife filmmaker and four-time National Award-winning cinematographer, photographer, and conservationist Vijay Bedi . The series will journey across India’s diverse terrains to uncover the evolving relationship between people and wildlife.
