India wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul missed the second ODI against England at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff after falling ill. The visitors made one change to their playing XI, with Ishan Kishan coming in as Rahul's replacement.England captain Harry Brook won the toss and elected to bowl first, hoping to make use of the conditions. India, meanwhile, said they would have preferred to bowl as well but were forced into a change because of Rahul's absence. Confirming the reason at the toss, India captain Shubman Gill said, "We would have bowled first as well. Doing well and very happy. We had a perfect game, hopefully we will do it again today. We started well and it was great to see fast bowlers do well. Very good memories here.
