GUJAR KHAN - A multi-storey building of the Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Choah Khalsa, constructed at a cost of millions of rupees, has remained incomplete for nearly a decade and is now being used as a cattle shelter, while its classrooms have become nesting grounds for birds.
The abandoned building was constructed to provide higher secondary education facilities to girls from Choah Khalsa, Knoaha, Dhan Galli, Mohra Langrial and dozens of other villages located along the boundary of Rawalpindi district. However, due to the non-completion of the project, female students from these areas are forced to discontinue their education after secondary school.
