Taoiseach and party leader Micheál Martin said the event would focus on easing cost-of-living pressures, supporting families and households, protecting jobs and investing in infrastructure.
Mr Martin was also reminded how last year's think-in in Cork came ahead of the aborted Presidential Election candidature of Jim Gavin, an event which brought his leadership of Fianna Fáil under scrutiny.
When asked if his parliamentary party was in unison behind him, Mr Martin said his colleagues were united in tackling issues that matter to people.
