In Hassan district, the number of electors has come down by 1,67,285 in the draft voters’ list and another 79,778 are set to receive notices as part of the Special Intensive Revision.

The Hassan district administration published the draft voters’ list on Monday (August 24). Earlier, there were 15,42,802 voters in the district. The revised number stood at 13,75,517. Among those who made it to the list, 6,80,925 are men and 6,94,559 are women. As many as 1,67,285 names that fall under the Absent, Shifted, Duplicate, Dead and Others (ASDDO) categories have been removed from the draft list.
