In Abhijeet Dipke's Message To "Cockroaches", Pause In Protests And A "Real Leaders" Reveal

Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party, has called for a temporary pause in protests against the Election Commission to allow supporters to spend time with their families during the festive season. He also expressed emotional support for two jailed spokespersons, framing them as the true leaders of the movement.
Why it matters
The movement represents a localized political challenge to electoral processes in India, and the detention of its leaders highlights ongoing tensions between activists and state authorities.
Indicating a pause in protests, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has asked the movement's supporters to spend time with their loved ones during the festive period. In a message issued on Dussehra, Dipke urged his supporters to pray for CJP spokespersons Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das, who are in jail, and not allow hatred to consume them, asserting that the movement's strengths are peace, compassion and love.Dipke also grew emotional as he called Ranka and Das the real leaders of the movement and hit out at critics comparing their protest to violent demonstrations in Nepal, Bangladesh and France.
