Improve network and road connectivity in remote agency areas: ASR Collector

The District Collector of Alluri Sitharama Raju district has ordered BSNL and engineering departments to improve road and network connectivity in remote tribal areas. Priority is being placed on essential services like health centers, schools, and government offices.

District Collector T. Nishanthi, has directed the BSNL and engineering department officials to take special measures to address network and road connectivity issues in remote and inaccessible areas in Alluri Sitharama Raju district.
The Collector on Wednesday reviewed network connectivity, road facilities and progress of infrastructure and development works in remote areas of the district. Officials from the BSNL, R&B, ITDA, forest and other concerned engineering departments attended the meeting.
She instructed the officials concerned to identify areas with weak or no network connectivity and prepare a location-wise list of network black spots.
The Collector directed BSNL officials to examine the technical feasibility of providing network connectivity at the identified locations and take appropriate measures to strengthen the network.
