Immigration to review SOPs after three die in truck crash, says DG
The Malaysian Immigration Department is reviewing its standard operating procedures following a fatal accident involving one of its trucks. A man and his two daughters were killed when the vehicle veered off course in Kuala Lumpur.

PETALING JAYA: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be re-examined following the fatal accident involving an Immigration Department truck and three pedestrians early Wednesday (Aug 19).
Immigration director-general Datuk Zakaria Shaaban, when contacted, said the department will fully cooperate with the police on the investigation into the fatal accident.
"From the legal aspect, the department will cooperate with the police in their investigations.
"We will also investigate the issue ourselves from all angles, including looking into the set SOPs that are already in place," he said.
