IMD issues orange, red alerts for A.P. as low-pressure area may bring heavy rain in next three days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Amaravati, has issued orange alerts for the northern districts of Andhra Pradesh for September 22 as the well-marked low pressure area over Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a depression by Tuesday.

According to the weather forecast, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at one or two places in the districts of Srikakulam, Parvathipuram Manyam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, ASR, Anakapalli and Kakinada on Tuesday.
