IMC 2026: iQOO 16, Motorola Signature 27 and Xiaomi 18 Pro to run Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor

At the India Mobile Congress 2026, manufacturers announced that the iQOO 16, Motorola Signature 27, and Xiaomi 18 Pro will feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor. The chip is designed to enhance AI capabilities, gaming performance, and thermal efficiency.

iQOO 16, Motorola Signature 27 and Xiaomi 18 Pro smartphones will run on the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, announced company representatives at the 10th edition of India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026 in New Delhi on Friday (October 9, 2026).
The premium flagship processor is said to enhance agentic AI, camera capabilities, battery, gaming and thermal performance of the smartphones. Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 uses the 2nm process node, features custom-built Qualcomm Oryon CPU, Adreno GPU and Hexagon NPU.
