Images of Gauri Lankesh murder accused with Police Commissioner shared on social media
Images showing a police commissioner in Hubballi-Dharwad with individuals accused of murder and drug offenses have circulated on social media. The police department has denied any formal association, stating the photos were taken during a public greeting event.

The images of Amit Baddi, accused of involvement in the murder and Khet Singh Rajpurohit, accused of narcotic offences, were shared on social media. They were taken when they went to welcome him in his office a few days ago, when he took charge.
However, the police commissionerate has denied any connection. It clarified that there was no connection of officers with persons with criminal antecedents.
