Ilhan Omar’s husband, political consultant Tim Mynett, has spoken out after federal agents raided the Minnesota congresswoman’s Washington, DC, residence as part of a criminal investigation into her immigration records, while also addressing questions about her reported absence from public view.Mynett was seen leaving the couple’s rented home on Wednesday to walk their golden Labrador, Teddy, and later to take out the trash, according to the New York Post. He was also seen accompanying one of Omar’s staffers out of the house.Asked by Fox News Digital whether Omar had left the country amid rumours following the raid, Mynett expressed frustration with reporters and said their presence was disturbing neighbours.“You guys are annoying the hell out of all the neighbors around here, man,” he said.The developments come amid an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) into Omar’s immigration paperwork.
