IKEA and XBOX YXSTABY collection now in the Philippines

IKEA and Xbox have launched the YXSTABY collection in the Philippines, a nine-piece furniture line designed to integrate gaming setups into everyday home living. The collection focuses on modularity and space-saving solutions for families and gamers.
Why it matters
This collaboration represents a growing trend of lifestyle brands merging gaming culture with home interior design to cater to modern consumer needs.
IKEA and XBOX have come together to design YXSTABY, a nine-piece collection for gamers, with one designer from each company drawing from their expertise in comfort and design, and what gamers need. In Filipino households, this means a gaming chair can move from a shared bedroom to the dining room when everyone is asleep, a TV stand can move to the living room for a multi-player gameplay, and stop the family from complaining about gaming accessories being all over the house.
“XBOX knows what players need from their gaming setup, and we know how to solve the small problems that come with adapting that to everyday life at home. Together, we set out to make furniture people really want in their home, not furniture they accept because it is what you need to game,” IKEA Product Design Developer Philip Dilé said.
