IIT Tirupati celebrates 8th convocation
IIT Tirupati held its 8th Convocation Ceremony, awarding degrees to 457 students. The event featured Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla as the chief guest and highlighted the institute's growth since its 2015 inception.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Tirupati celebrated its 8th Convocation Ceremony on Saturday (August 22, 2026). Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, recipient of the Ashoka Chakra, was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Sajjan Jindal, Chairman and Managing Director, JSW Group and Chairperson, Board of Governors, IIT Tirupati, was also present. A total of 457 students were awarded degrees during the convocation, 18 were given medals and prizes for their achievements.
