IGP shuffles 21 senior police officers
The Uganda Police Force has announced a major reshuffle of 21 senior officers, including high-ranking officials in the Criminal Investigations Directorate and logistics departments. Inspector General of Police Abas Byakagaba stated that these changes are effective immediately.

In a message sent out to all police units on September 8, Inspector General of Police Abas Byakagaba said; “the changes take immediate effect.”

The Uganda Police Force leadership has shuffled 21 senior officers, elevating some and transferring others to different duty stations.
Those moved include commissioners of police, assistant commissioners of police, senior superintendents of police, superintendents of police and assistant superintendents of police.
