‘If Ashu is not released, I will go to Assam’: CJP's Abhijeet Dipke warns Himanta

GUWAHATI: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has warned that he will travel to Assam with other party members if co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka is not released after being detained by Assam Police.Dipke said Ranka was picked up from a private residence and claimed that the party had not been told the charges or grounds for his detention.“Ashu was picked up by Assam Police from a private residence. They have still not been told under what charges or on what grounds he has been detained,” Dipke said in a post on X.He added, “If Ashu is not released, I will go to Assam along with other CJP members.
