ICMR-NIN kicks off SHINE 2026 for school students

The ICMR-National Institute of Nutrition has launched the SHINE 2026 programme to introduce schoolchildren to scientific research and public health. The initiative features interactive exhibits and hands-on activities to foster curiosity about nutrition and evidence-based health approaches.
Around 800 students from nine schools, including government institutions, visited the ICMR-National Institute of Nutrition (ICMR-NIN) in Tarnaka on Tuesday to gain firsthand exposure to scientific research during the first day of the two-day Science & Health Innovation for Nextgen Explorers (SHINE) Programme 2026.
