India will begin its campaign on October 7, 2027, against Australia in Cape Town, the capital city of South Africa. India will also face Pakistan in Johannesburg on October 10. The tournament will see a revamped format with the competition moving through the Super Series, a 12-team group stage and the Super 7 before the semifinals and final.
The tournament will be co-hosted by South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Last edition’s runner-up India and Pakistan have been drawn in the same group along with Australia.
