ICC Trial Chamber III authorized the use of witness P-1100's prior recorded testimony concerning the alleged Davao Death Squad modus operandi and Duterte's alleged knowledge, intent, and individual criminal responsibility.
The Chamber ruled that admitting the testimony would not prejudice Duterte's rights and would make the proceedings more expeditious.
Prosecutors were limited to one hour of supplementary questioning, while four associated documents were rejected.
