IBC 2026: ENCO Debuts Automatic Language Detection and Voice Translation

ENCO will unveil new multilingual captioning capabilities at IBC2026 (Stand 7.A34, RAI Amsterdam, September 11–14), including automatic language detection for live broadcasts, on-premises translation integration in enCaption Sierra, and the IBC debut of enSpeak voice translation.
The new automatic language detection capability identifies changes in spoken language in real time and generates captions in the appropriate language without operator intervention. The feature supports any combination across 50 languages and is available across enCaption solutions including enCaption Sierra, which is now shipping worldwide.
ENCO is also integrating enTranslate, its real-time translation engine, directly into Sierra, allowing broadcasters to translate live captions from one language to another within an on-premises environment without sending content off-site.
