IAS officer appointed observer for Karnataka West Graduates’ Constituency poll
The Election Commission of India has appointed IAS officer Vishal R. as the observer for the 2026 Karnataka Legislative Council elections for the West Graduates’ Constituency. The public can submit grievances regarding the electoral process to the appointed official.

The Election Commission (EC) of India has appointed IAS officer Vishal R. as the election observer for the biennial election of 2026 to the Karnataka Legislative Council from the Karnataka West Graduates’ Constituency.
Belagavi Divisional Commissioner and Returning Officer for the constituency, K.M. Janaki, said the observer would oversee the electoral process and receive complaints or grievances related to the election.
Members of the public and stakeholders can bring election-related grievances to Dr. Vishal’s notice through email at vishalravi@rediffmail.com or vishal.r@nic.in.
