The downtown area also offers a variety of community events, including concerts and beach bonfires. For my entire life, I've been grateful to call the East Coast my home. From Fort Lauderdale , Florida, to Newport, Rhode Island, I've spent years exploring the region's beaches and coastal towns. Out of all of them, though, the destination I always recommend most is Bethany Beach, Delaware. Bethany, which is part of a group of towns called "The Quiet Resorts," sits between the larger beach destinations of Ocean City, Maryland, and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
