When people hear I had five kids within three years, they assume the baby years must have been the hardest. But when the kids were babies and toddlers, I managed pretty well. I could anticipate their needs, change up their routines, or hire a babysitter. Things got trickier as they got older. Today my twins are 21 and 19, and my youngest son is 18.
